Welcome to the ongoing chronicle of my crazy life! Before you begin, allow me to fill you in on how this blog works: every Monday, I'll be posting my "Quick Picks," a feature in which I'll recommend a few books, either for pleasure or personal edification. These "Quick Picks" will be cataloged in "The Reading Room." On Wednesdays I will be posting an opinion piece or an otherwise thought-provoking entry. These musings will be recorded in, naturally, "My Musings." Every other Friday, I'll post an original piece of creative writing. These pieces will be preserved in "My Compendium."
